Our Story

Welcome to Kitchen 86 Restaurant + Bar located right in the heart of El Paseo. This place is a mix of modern and eclectic, with a diverse menu of international cuisine that’s locally grown and owned. It’s the perfect spot to chill and hang out with your friends and family.

Tom Nowlan is the man behind this awesome restaurant. He’s a restaurant entrepreneur from Ypsilanti, Michigan who’s been in the food industry since he was ten years old. He started with the legendary Domino’s Pizza franchise and eventually owned more than two dozen stores and a thousand employees. After retiring, he decided to venture into the restaurant business, and that’s how Kitchen 86 came to be.

Joe Morano and Chef Abel Gonzales are also part of this team, and they’ve been killing it with their amazing menu and atmosphere that customers love. Chef Abel is always experimenting with new dishes, so every time you visit, you’ll get a different culinary experience!

But it’s not just the food that’s amazing here. Our bartenders are some of the best in the desert, whipping up craft cocktails that are out of this world. And our wine selection is top-notch!
